Yes that app sounds really cool, but the problem with a platform as it grows is that it attracts the vultures, and once they smell blood they will make themself with it as well.

It is enough you take a picture with your mobile phone, unfortunatelly , it is morals, manners, sence of privacy borrders one does not cross even if legall, just because it is not right to do so, as much as I love AI, all the good it is and can do, it is deprived of this, to great amount deliberately, and that is just sad, you can not even say machine did it, basicly, at the end we are all victims of those lacking stated above

I’ve been a professional artist/ illustrator for over 40 years. Last year I stopped posting ANY of my art online because of the theft. Now it’s going to be even worse! I watched the system take away my right to royalties-all illustration jobs became “work for hire”. AI is another step in crushing our ability to earn a living.

Absolutely agree...You do however want to create speed paintings... Limit your time to encourage speeding up your process. That in turn will allow you to up the polish and details in the artworks you take your time on.

When these companies start getting the myspace treatment, just mass abandonment they will change thir tune. not that i think we need them. they seem to do VERY little for us. The future will be an analogue one.

You are aware that everybody can make a screenshot and feed the AI themselves. Even if an artist completely disappears from the internet, one can still visit the exhibition, take a photo, and feed it into MidJourney or whichever AI they choose. I don’t see any escape unless there are exhibitions without photography. Maybe we will find new solutions for how we present our art. The good thing is that AI can’t really paint, make sculptures or installations, or perform any kind of performance art. I made a lot of experiments with high-quality art pieces and tried to achieve a better result with AI, but that doesn’t work really because there are so many physical and real elements missing in an art piece. Experimenting with AI can give an artist very interesting new inspirations, but the execution would probably be very different from a real artist.

I think the only way this may stop is if game company's and media groups realize they are just creating their own competition. When people can pop out full blown movies and games eventually easily.

If you can’t import fake designer items because of intellectual property rights then surely all artists, writers, photographers, musicians should be covered by copyright laws. Let’s see what the first AI artistic copies of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck will do to the creative team at Disney. Let their lawyers take on Meta. How come Europe was able to opt out?

I've hosted my own website since 1995 (and it looks like it ;)) to post my comic art. A few years back I posted a few of my comics to deviant art to find a bigger audience. Was that a mistake? Is that website also scrapped? Was thinking about posting to fb but ive changed my mind about that, even though I opted out of their ai training thing, i simply don't trust ol Mark.

I never felt like posting my stuff on Instagram. Mostly because followers want you to keep on posting. Seen people excuse themselves for holding a break. But I am wondering. Google have their own ai and if I make a Google search on my name. Stuff from meta are shown in the Google search. So aren't they also doing what meta is doing? So meta is now doing what we got pissed off at Adobe for saying that they will do.

I started a tarot deck project back during lockdown, but slowed down a lot when I went back to school over the last two years. This year I hope to pick it back up and try to get more cards done, but I'm feeling the urge to redraw a lot of my older cards since both my art and vision has grown.

I don't won't to disiponig you but this not how texture work in 3D rendering. The texture on 3D rendering in it collection off flat images that aplay to UVs. Yes the are multiple maps like normal map that it may make the object looks more 3D have better lighting or whatever and it posble to make multiple material but other than that it's the texture are flat images in most cases.

What's the point of using Milanote? I can use pureref and figma jam instead they have absolutely the same features, but most imortant, they absolutely free.

Nothing you can do about it need to just live your life and not feel that the art is so precious. It will soon be in your operating system, design software and everything you can think of. Unless you go off the grid and only use pen, pencil and paper there is nothing you can do about it.

When I clicked this I didn't think much about it I just wanted to know how to draw clouds better but after watching it through It changed my life I am gonna redo my painting and focus on the big picture I totally get absorbed into the small er details and by the end it's all a mess thanks for this video.

With or without AI, corporates will let go off people for their own benefits. 😂
